Bill updates on S. 196, H. 4817, Various PBM reforms (H. 4796, 4792, 4794, 4791, S. 342), AI in Prior Authorization (S.920), and Health Insurance Cost Sharing (S. 330). This session will also discuss agency funding, PBM study committee, liquor liability, and forecasting.

About Speaker: Robert Cathcart serves as the Legislative and Public Policy Liaison at the South Carolina Department of Insurance. In that role he drafts bills and amendments, interfaces with legislators, advocates for agency budget requests, and conducts research to create and implement sound public policy. Previously Robert served as Policy & Legald Advisor at the South Carolina Department of Education and before that service spent five and a half years working in the field of energy policy. Robert is passionate about creating and implementing good policy and views his roles as a means by which to advance excellence throughout state government.
