Fall Statewide Member Meeting Recap
The Fall Statewide Member Meeting took place in September in Columbia, SC, drawing a record attendance of 184 members. The day prior, 33 members attended an ICHRA Certification class, enhancing their knowledge on innovative healthcare reimbursement strategies.
To kick off the event, a reception was held at the DoubleTree Hotel on the evening before, generously sponsored by BlueCross BlueShield of SC and BlueChoice HealthPlans, who served as both Reception and Presenting Sponsors.
Attendees had the opportunity to earn CE credits while engaging with a diverse lineup of educational sessions. The agenda included a legislative update, offering insights into recent policy developments, and a discussion on senior market issues, addressing key challenges and opportunities. Senator Ross Turner from Greenville was also present, providing updates on local legislation impacting our industry.
Additional sessions covered critical HR issues every agent should know, as well as a workshop on Advising with Integrity, emphasizing ethical practices and trust-building with clients.
Throughout the day, 23 exhibitors showcased their products and services, providing valuable resources and networking opportunities for attendees.
