Learn about HealthSherpa and its role in today’s ACA marketplace while gaining the latest updates on the evolving enrollment landscape. This session will cover recent CMS and NBPP/OBBA policy changes, including updates to enrollment timelines, consumer eligibility, agent delegation, and identity proofing. Attendees will also learn practical strategies for preparing for OEP 2027, including completing FFM training, updating consumer authorizations, communicating with clients affected by carrier market exits, and staying ahead of upcoming policy changes.

About Speakers: Miguel Rosa, Senior Growth Manager at HealthSherpa, has spent the last two years helping agencies navigate the ever changing ACA landscape. With a background in technology and artificial intelligence, Miguel consults on growth strategy and works closely with agency partners to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their operations — translating complex policy shifts into clear, actionable guidance. Outside of work, he serves on the Board of Directors of an ocean conservation nonprofit.
Patty Kirk, Senior Manager, Agent Success and Training at HealthSherpa, has spent the past three years at HealthSherpa supporting agents in the ACA space, with a focus on training, industry coaching, and business growth for both independent agents and agencies. She leads a team of success reps who assist agents with onboarding and key product use, improving both efficiency and customer service. Prior to HealthSherpa, she held nonprofit directorship roles.
